🌟 Join Us in Welcoming Celia Gonzalez Lozano to the Illinois Unidos Board!

We are thrilled to introduce Celia Gonzalez Lozano as the newest member of our board! With over 20 years of experience in the non-profit sector, Celia has made a remarkable impact in educational, youth, and community-based organizations. Her dedication to **social justice** and **racial equity** has shaped her leadership in community building and systemic change. 🌱

From founding the Telpochcalli Community Education Project to serving as a senior leader at Communities In Schools of Chicago, and now as a Senior Grants Specialist at Tides, Celia continues to uplift and inspire communities. We are excited to have her passion and expertise as we continue our mission for COVID-19 equity and recovery.

✨ In her own words:

*”It is an honor to join this powerful network of promotoras de salud and community leaders as Latine communities strive to heal from the ongoing effects of COVID-19. I am inspired by the immense efforts and achievements of Illinois Unidos and look forward to serving on the board and supporting this critical and impactful work.”* 💬

Welcome, Celia! 🎉
