Our Promotores de Salud Committee convenes monthly to empower promotores with the latest health education, professional development, and capacity-building sessions. These gatherings prioritize current updates on COVID-19’s impact on the Latino community, offering training opportunities that equip promotores from partner agencies with new skills and relevant information to better serve our communities. Join us every second Friday of the month at 4 pm Central Time!

Our Workplace Committee prioritizes safeguarding essential workers and advocating for their rights, health, and safety in key industries. Our committee is made up of a variety of policy advocates and workplace safety activists. In 2023, we lead efforts urging the state’s General Assembly to endorse measures based on the experiences of Latinx, Black, and other marginalized workers during the pandemic, aiming to prevent workplace fatalities and illnesses.
